November 13, 2015 — Ensia received four Gold awards, a Silver and a Bronze at last night’s Minnesota Magazine Publishing Excellence Awards ceremony in Minneapolis. The awards — presented by the Minnesota Magazine & Publishing Association — recognize outstanding publishing achievements in the areas of editorial, design, marketing, digital publishing and overall excellence.

The winning entries included gold awards for overall excellence, overall design, feature design and feature writing for the story “Has meat met its match” by Rowan Jacobsen. The story “The beginning and end of the Artic” by Edward Struzik took home a silver for feature writing, and the design team received a bronze for spread design.
