Sharon is a staff reporter at The Hill, focusing on sustainability. Sharon spent the 2019-2020 academic year as a Ted Scripps Fellow in Environmental Journalism — a faculty fellowship program hosted by the Center for Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado Boulder. Prior to her fellowship, Sharon lived for nearly a decade in Israel, where she primarily reported on environment and energy for The Jerusalem Post. While working for the paper, she received a Pratt Prize for Environmental Journalism — Israel’s highest honor in the sector. An avid writer since childhood, she earned her MS from Columbia Journalism School and a BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania. Sharon was a staff writer for The New York Jewish Week before moving to Israel.
