Based in Victoria, British Columbia, independent reporter Peter Fairley has covered energy and its environmental implications for two decades, from Beijing to Bolivia. In 2015 his coverage of solar energy was awarded first prize for beat reporting in the Society of Environmental Journalists’ 14th Annual Awards for Reporting on the Environment.
