Kate is an environmental scientist, writer and guide. She recently worked as a glacier guide in Antarctica and Chile following a year of research on water, glacier and climate adaptation issues in Chile as a Fulbright Scholar. She holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and will begin graduate studies in water sciences at Oxford University this fall.
