Ismail Turay Jr. has been a journalist for the past 20 years. During that time he has been a reporter, a newspaper editor and a manager on a 24-hour breaking news team that produced content for Cox Media Group’s print, broadcast and digital platforms. He returned to reporting in late 2019, when he joined the Dayton Daily News’ special projects team covering water quality and higher education.
