Alina is a graduate in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and lives in Chicago. She has worked in a variety of research labs, studying infectious disease, animal behavior and immunology. She recently returned from a six-month trip to Morocco, where she did work with an international conservation nonprofit. Currently, Alina works at an animal hospital as a veterinary technician. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies and playing Ultimate Frisbee.
