Alex Trembath is a senior analyst in the Energy and Climate Program at Breakthrough Institute, where he researches and writes about renewable energy technologies, American federal energy policy and the history of public investments in technological innovation. He is lead or co-author of several Breakthrough publications, and his writing on energy technology and policy has been published by the San Francisco Chronicle, Politico and Bloomberg. He is a graduate of University of California at Berkeley where he received his Bachelor's in Environmental Economics and Policy.
