Does conservation need a new narrative that accounts for human economy, engages local ownership, values ecosystem services and motivates private and public partnership for investment in natural infrastructure? That’s the question nearly three dozen conservation leaders tackled most recently as part of the Dialogue on Conservation in the 21st Century convened by the Aspen Institute’s Energy and Environment Program.
